Using Google for quick market research

NOTE: This post is old, and is probably on different subject matter than my current writing. It is possible the information is outdated or my opinions have changed. -- Josh Klein, May 28, 2012

I’ve been playing around with some new video creation software, so I put together this video as an intro to a tool I find useful. What do you think – more videos in the future, or stick to writing? Let me know in the comments.

Yes, I definitely like mixing it up with some video, especially making processes clear like you did right here.

LOVED the video – so much more helpful to me than reading as I am visual. Thanks!

I like this format. You have a good voice, and your delivery is good neither overly enthusiastic nor dull either which would be turn offs. There is more echoing in sound than optimal. I don’t know how you could correct that. A sound engineer question.

The video is good because it is short and shows a very distinct task to be performed. I’d be interested to see if you can integrate videos in to some of your more conceptual posts, but also hesitant; I feel as though many people use videos and substitutes and not complements.

*that should have read “as substitutes” and not “and substitutes”

    Josh:

Nice and short! You always know you succeed when your listener is left wanting more.

Also, what video creation software are you using?

    Best of luck,

    Gustavo

Great video but there’s a huge difference between “broad search” and “exact search”.
