Of the points you mentioned, having a voice and being consistent are the most important. And to do that you really have to have confidence in your ability to communicate and a clear idea of what you want from the conversation and where you want your blog to go.

So much of the work is accomplished on the front end – well before you hit “Post.”

Talk about hitting the nail on the head. As one who writes about writing, I can honestly say that folks who are not naturally writers need to pay attention here. These tips are pretty much life lessons in addition to writing/blogging lessons.
