The elephant in the room really is huge. Why would google be interested in collecting all the data on the amount of +1's if they were not going to use all of this real human data to influence the rankings. Google goal with their rankings is to show the best websites to searchers - and if these searchers are flat out telling Google what sites they like the best, it only seems natural that Google will rank those sites higher.

Great video but there's a huge difference between "broad search" and "exact search".

Josh:

Nice and short! You always know you succeed when your listener is left wanting more.

Also, what video creation software are you using?

Best of luck,

Gustavo

The video is good because it is short and shows a very distinct task to be performed. I'd be interested to see if you can integrate videos in to some of your more conceptual posts, but also hesitant; I feel as though many people use videos and substitutes and not complements.

I like this format. You have a good voice, and your delivery is good neither overly enthusiastic nor dull either which would be turn offs. There is more echoing in sound than optimal. I don't know how you could correct that. A sound engineer question.

Yes, I definitely like mixing it up with some video, especially making processes clear like you did right here.

I agree completely. I admire the innovation, but some areas that are more serious such as security and spam prevention should not be covered with ads. Also, being essentially forced to write out the copy of an ad just doesn't seem right.

Solve Media did a great job on that video.

However, there is no way their captcha is as secure as Google's reCaptcha, which means lots more spam and other abuse down the road.

The whole reason for the crazy hard-to-read text is to try to stop computers from copying and pasting the text into the answer box.

Solve Media's text is just regular type, wouldn't it be be super easy for a computer to copy and paste it in the answer box, or am I missing something?
