As a strategic planner, I help people answer some pretty big questions:

  • “What do we do?”
  • “For whom do we do it?”
  • “How can we beat or avoid competition?”

And then there are also some practical questions anyone trying to build a website has to answer:

  • “What should be on my site?”
  • “How should it be laid out?”
  • “Why is one design better than another?”
  • “Who can actually build this?”
  • “Where will I find people to visit my site?”

And perhaps most importantly:

  • “How does it make money?”

My mission is to make websites worth caring about, websites that matter to people. This makes my job easier, because these are the websites that make money.

The Internet is NOT a get rich quick scheme. Building a successful online business is hard, but there is good reason to try anyway. On the web, smart people are not limited by geography or circumstance, and little ideas can have large impacts.

This blog is all about helping you:

  • develop new products for the web
  • expand your sales
  • gain exposure
  • or organize a movement

Why am I writing about any of this?

I want to tempt you into contacting me.

Have you ever thought, “I have a great idea, I just wish I knew how to make it work on the web?” Well, that’s funny, because I’m always thinking, “Gosh, I know how to make things work on the web, I sure could use a great idea right about now.”

I’m really into this whole Internet thing, so I haven’t taken the years you have to learn about green energy, health care, education, cooking, literature, or any of the thousands of things you might be passionate about.

Here’s something you know but maybe forgot: the Internet is the most paradigm-shifting technology in human history.

Here’s a secret you might not know: we are woefully short of the crescendo. The bubble burst at the turn of the century created a lot of skepticism that still lasts today. It won’t last forever.

Despite over a decade of the Internet being a part of pop culture, few people “get it”. People with expertise in other areas rarely have the time or inclination to also become Internet experts. This leaves us a massive opportunity for collaboration.

Right now.

I’m writing this blog for selfish reasons. I want to convince you that you’re smart enough and good enough to turn what you do into something much bigger with my help.

So… contact me and let’s talk about it.
